Your information, kept private and secure
Your health is personal. Here's how we protect your data and keep you in control, in plain English, no jargon.
- Encrypted in transit. Every page and form is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, so the information you send us, including your health details, is protected on its way to us.
- Passwordless sign-in. There's no password to remember or leak. You sign in with a secure, single-use magic link sent to your email, so only someone with access to your inbox can reach your account.
- Payments handled by trusted providers. Card payments are processed securely by our regulated payment provider. Your full card details are never stored on our servers.
- Only used to provide your care. We use your information to provide and improve your care, in line with UK GDPR, never sold. You stay in control of your marketing preferences, and we'll only ever send the service updates you actually need.
- Your data, your choice. You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete it at any time from your account's privacy settings. We'll always honour those requests wherever the law allows: some pharmacy records must be kept for set periods to meet our legal and professional obligations.
Who can see your information
Only the pharmacists and patient care staff involved in your treatment can open your records, and each person sees only what their role needs. Key actions on your records, such as a prescribing decision, are written to an audit trail that cannot be edited or deleted, so there is always an accurate history of who did what.
Your health information is never shared with advertisers or used to build marketing profiles. If you have opted in to marketing, those emails are driven by your preferences alone, never by what you have been prescribed.
In the unlikely event of a security incident that affects you, we will tell you and the Information Commissioner's Office promptly, as UK GDPR requires, and explain what we are doing about it.
