Accessibility statement
Accessibility at MediHealth Direct
We want everyone to be able to use our online pharmacy and telehealth service, including people who rely on assistive technology.
Last updated: 30 June 2026
1. Our commitment
MediHealth Direct is committed to making its website and patient portal accessible, in line with our duties under the Equality Act 2010.
We are working towards conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, and we treat accessibility as part of ongoing development rather than a one-off project.
2. What we do to support access
- We build with semantic HTML and accessible interface components so the site can be used with a keyboard and with screen readers.
- We aim for sufficient colour contrast and clear, resizable text.
- We respect your operating system's 'reduce motion' preference where animations are used.
- We label forms and provide clear error messages in the consultation and checkout journeys.
3. Known limitations
We are actively improving accessibility and are aware of some areas that do not yet fully meet our target standard. These include parts of the multi-step consultation questionnaire, some interactive components, and certain downloadable PDF documents that may not be fully tagged for screen readers.
We are prioritising fixes to these areas. If something prevents you from completing what you need to, please contact us and we will help.
4. Requesting information in another format
If you need information from this site (including prescriptions, patient information leaflets, invoices or policy documents) in an alternative format such as large print, plain text or an accessible PDF, please get in touch and we will provide it.
5. Giving us feedback
If you find an accessibility problem, or you have a suggestion, we'd like to hear from you. Please contact us via the Contact page and tell us the page or task involved and the assistive technology you were using, so we can reproduce and fix the issue.
6. Enforcement
The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) is responsible for enforcing the Equality Act 2010. If you are unhappy with how we respond to your accessibility concern, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS).
