About us
A pharmacy built around you.
MediHealth Direct is a UK online pharmacy on a mission to make safe, expert healthcare accessible to everyone.
We started MediHealth Direct because getting routine treatment in the UK can be harder than it should be. Booking a GP appointment for a repeat prescription, taking time off work, or having a personal conversation across a busy pharmacy counter: none of it felt designed around the patient.
So we built something different: a calm, clinical-grade online pharmacy that feels as trustworthy as your local chemist, but works around your life. Browse treatments, complete a confidential consultation, and let our pharmacists do the rest. Everything arrives discreetly at your door.
We're a GPhC-registered pharmacy, which means we're held to the same rigorous standards as any high-street chemist. Our clinical team reviews every single request, and we'll only ever dispense treatment that's safe and suitable for you.
We also work directly with residential providers through our specialist pharmacy service for care homes. Explore our care-home pharmacy support.
What we do
Everything is run from our own pharmacy in Nottingham, by the same team, whether you order online or walk through the door.
- Prescription treatments online Confidential consultations for common conditions, from skin and hair to women's, men's, sexual and digestive health, each reviewed by a pharmacist prescriber before anything is dispensed.
- NHS Pharmacy First Free NHS treatment for seven common conditions without a GP appointment.
- Vaccinations and health checks Travel, seasonal and family vaccinations, plus blood tests and screening, delivered in person at our clinic.
- Everyday medicines and wellness Over-the-counter remedies and food supplements delivered to your door, with a pharmacist a phone call away if you're unsure what to choose.
What you can hold us to
- Honest about what we can treat. Our questionnaires are designed to spot when online treatment isn't the right route. When that's the case we'll say so and point you to your GP, NHS 111 or a face-to-face service instead.
- No charge unless a pharmacist approves. For prescription treatments your card is authorised at checkout but only charged once your order has been approved. If it isn't suitable, the authorisation is released.
- Real people when you need them. Our UK-based patient care team answers the phone during pharmacy hours and replies to messages within one working day.
