Safe care, every step of the way

We're a registered UK pharmacy with real clinical oversight. Here's exactly how we keep you safe, from the moment you start a consultation to the day your treatment arrives.

  • A GPhC-registered UK pharmacy. MediHealth Direct is a registered pharmacy (GPhC Reg No. 9012663), held to the same standards as any UK high-street chemist. Our registration and superintendent pharmacist details are shown in the footer of every page.
  • Every request reviewed by a clinician. No treatment is dispensed without a clinical review. A qualified, GPhC-registered pharmacist assesses your consultation and only issues a prescription where it's safe and clinically appropriate for you.
  • You're never charged for treatment we can't approve. Your card is authorised at checkout but only charged once a pharmacist approves your treatment. If it isn't suitable, the authorisation is released, you won't be charged, and we'll suggest a safer alternative where we can.
  • Your data is handled with care. Your information is stored securely and only used to provide your care, in line with UK GDPR. You can request a copy or deletion of your data at any time from your account.

Reporting a side effect

If you think you've had a side effect from any medicine, you can report it directly to the MHRA through the Yellow Card scheme. Your reports help the MHRA monitor the safety of medicines in the UK. If you're worried about an urgent or serious reaction, seek medical help straight away: call 999 in an emergency or NHS 111 for urgent advice.

You can also tell us through your account or our Report a Problem page, and we'll support you and submit a Yellow Card report on your behalf where appropriate.
