How it works

1. Fill in the short form. Tell us who you are, where to deliver and which GP surgery you're registered with.
2. We handle the switch. We register the nomination so new prescriptions come to us electronically, and we let your current pharmacy know.
3. Delivered to your door. We dispense your prescriptions at our Nottingham pharmacy and post them with free tracked delivery.

What the form asks

The nomination form covers who you are (name, date of birth, contact details and NHS number if you know it), your home and delivery address, your prescription charge or exemption status, and your agreement to the nomination. Questions before you switch? Contact our team or check the FAQ.

Before you switch

Will I still pay prescription charges?

Yes. The standard prescription charge applies unless you're exempt, exactly as it would at any other pharmacy; delivery is what we make free. The form asks about your exemption or prepayment certificate so we can apply it correctly from your very first prescription.

What happens to prescriptions already issued?

Once your nomination is registered, anything your GP issues from then on comes straight to us. A prescription already sent to your current pharmacy should still be collected from there as usual.

What if I need a medicine urgently?

Nominating us doesn't lock you in. If you need something the same day, ask your GP surgery to send that prescription to a pharmacy near you, or call us and we'll advise on the quickest option.

Is the medication the same as I'd get locally?

Yes. We dispense the exact medicine and quantity your prescriber requested, from a GPhC-registered pharmacy, with the same safety checks as any high-street chemist. If you have a question about how to take it, our pharmacists are a phone call away.

Can I change my mind later?

At any time. You can move your nomination back, or to any other pharmacy, simply by asking them or your GP surgery. There's no contract and nothing to cancel.
