Insomnia is difficulty falling asleep, staying asleep, or waking too early. It can affect your mood, energy levels, and ability to function during the day.
Understanding Insomnia
Insomnia can occur on its own (primary) or as a result of anxiety, pain, or hormonal changes (secondary). Types: Short-term insomnia lasts less than three months. Chronic insomnia persists for three months or longer.
